The Salt Cafe “Unique Bistro For Your Thirst & Hunger”

A truly unique and wonderful restaurant “The Salt Cafe” which was earlier known as the “Pinch of Salt” mark a great experience in my memory so I can’t wait to share the amazing birthday celebration dinner night with my friends. The Salt Cafe is one of the most popular restaurants of that area as its dining space has an elegant feel with neat and sparkling chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and floral patterns adorning the seats.

And my friends were filled with praises for the restaurant ever since they had visited to so you can imagine the curiosity I had for visiting this place, and I finally did this April, on my friend birthday. We arrive a little late as you know girls took very less time to get ready so it was about to 10 p.m  and the best part was location of this cafe is walking from my friend home.So with all fresh and exciting mood we enter and the first thought came in my mind was WOW ,you might be thinking without having dinner how can we complement the place but this WOW was actually for their  elegant interiors and a very comforting ambiance, which was really unique in its own way.

As a tagline I can say “RESTAURANT COMBINING GREAT FOOD,DRINKS AND ATMOSPHERE”.The seating was divided into two floors, the indoor one which is more of a family & couple dinner types with soft unplugged collection and the terrace where you can hang out with your buddies and smoke some sheesha with the live screening of the IPL matches as well.

The decor of indoor sitting is elegantly modern, and the atmosphere is just perfect .We choose to feel the inner aura and we got the corner table, which was the sexiest part of the cafe as it was surrounded with beautiful mirror and reflecting black glasses.I hope you can imagine the view in your artistic mind with my description.

We kicked off with some Mock-tails and Starter before diving into main course. It’s been a week and I still remember the taste of most innovating drink I ever had in mock-tail “Colonial Hangover”-(It’s Non-Alcoholic) basically a sweet and tangy combination of strawberries and chilies with lots of crushed ice in it. First time in life I had this type of drink which will definitely left you with a twisting taste, and for tempting it the chef garnished that drink with slotted green chilly.

Now comes to starters Dahi ke Sholey (Deep Fried Bread Stuffed with Hung Curd and chopped red, yellow, green bell pepper) will make your day.Khass Paneer Tikka(Deeply marinated chunks of paneer, healthily cooked in tandoor) and Garden Veg Pizza(with topping of brocoli, mushroom, bell pepper, jalapeno, olives and cheese).

We were so full and satisfied with their delicious starters and beverages that can’t able to eat the main course. So will  visit next time to have their main course.

Live:Love:Eat:Laugh 😉
