India is a collection of natural beauties, cities, beaches and mesmerizing hill station which are truly gem for the nature. Many places are explored deeply and so they are on the top list among the list of hilly region, but there are some places whose feel and beauty is still chaste such as “ALMORA”.
Almora is a crossroads or I can say an old town which is 100 km from the famous station Kathgodam on the foothills of kumaoun Himalayas.
You all will be amazed after knowing that still there are some places which are untouched from visitor’s crowd as they are not so touristy hill station.
It was uncertain and very short trip but trust me expense was worth for the feeling and view.Me and my friends didn’t get enough time to explore all the spot but only those few hours which we spent on that cozy temperature and most important the positive and enthusiastic vibes of the resort “The Himalayan Woods” is still refresh my mind whenever I see the pictures.
The resort was so peaceful and vibrant that we wanted to stay for few more days ,but due to shortage of time we couldn’t make it.This hotel is situated almost 500 mtrs from Kasar Devi Temple and best park is its on the main Binsar Road. This hotel is made up of whole wood and very tastefully done up.
There is also a restaurant which offers almost every type of food. Here, you can expect royal treatment as staffs are very cooperative and friendly. The whole property is made up of wood and you will end up drying your phone batteries by clicking many photos.
Kasar Devi is a Hindu shrine temple which is purely dedicated to Kasar Devi. The temple is situated at the height having an altitude of 2116 meters. This pious place was also visited by Swami Vivekananda in 17 century for meditation. It offers the beautiful view of the Almora city and Hawabagh valley.
Kasadadevi Temple, is located on Almora-Binsar Road which is around 10 km from Almora.According to NASA scientist there are remains of stone age around Kasaradvi which make this place more peaceful and due to the unique peace of mind, many tourists from India and abroad come here.
There is a special band of magnetic power in the aura of this place. By virtue of its locations, most of these temples can only be reached through a small trek through the pines and the savin .Time flew here and you will think”abhi abhi to aye the” and then your watch will make you realize that its been more than an hour. Here we clicked many pictures as every angle was giving a unique and eye catching view.
Take a break from the role of a tourist and just explore the city as the twining roads take you. 🙂
Love & Peace 🙂
